Culturally Sensitive Counseling Initiative (CSCI)

CSCI envision creating a community where African American individuals and families have access to culturally sensitive mental health services, fostering healing, resilience, and well-being free from stigma and discrimination.

VISION

Our mission is to provide culturally sensitive mental health care that acknowledges and addresses the unique needs of African American individuals in Northampton County. Through tailored therapy, crisis intervention, and community outreach, we aim to empower our clients, reduce mental health disparities, and promote a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. 

MISSION

Why CSCI?

CSCI is a mental health service for the residents of Northampton County. Our therapist are licensed and if you apply, you will receive private services from these therapist at no cost to you.

It is our desire to ensure black, indigenous, and other people of color have a safe space where mental health resources and assistance is readily available.
